Quality Assured

ecoSelect Qualified Homes are inspected and tested by an approved independent third party. The verification of an ecoSelect home includes HVAC and duct system leakage testing, whole-house infiltration testing and additional quality control measures during the design and construction of the home, which helps provide homeowners with peace of mind knowing that their home's energy efficient features were inspected by a trained and certified organization.

High Performance Building Envelope

Every ecoSelect home includes low-e high performance windows as a standard feature. In addition, insulation is required to be installed properly to avoid gaps, voids or compressions. A High Performance building envelope helps reduce utility bills, improves comfort and reduces the fading of walls, floors and furniture.

Programmable Thermostats

Programmable thermostats reduce energy bills by tailoring the heating and cooling of a home to the occupants' work and sleep schedule. and provide comfort when you need it.

High Efficiency HVAC

Energy efficient HVAC systems begin with increased equipment efficiencies, quality installation and tightly-sealed ducts resulting in lower utility bills, increased comfort and improved air quality. All certified ecoSelect homes include HVAC system leakage testing as a quality control measure to help ensure that each HVAC system installed in your home is delivering the highest level of performance possible.

Energy Efficiency Lighting

All certified ecoSelect homes include lighting as part of the energy efficient solution to reduce bills by substituting inefficient incandescent bulbs that produce more heat than light with efficient CFLs or LED lights. All certified ecoSelect homes are built with WaterSense-certified water fixtures that are at least 20% more efficient without sacrificing performance.
